It was great to see Pavla, our Czech Grandma. She is doing so well. I told her she is too stubborn to let a stroke keep her from talking and walking. It has been six weeks since the stroke and she is already talking in Czech and English and using a walker. She has therapy daily and takes it seriously.
We have had time to see Petra and Vojta more, to talk about camp, future plans, relax. It has been fun to be with Lucie, to see how the kids are growing, took a short trip with Ivan and Hanka, and scare all the people we pass by saying good morning in English followed with Dobre den. We made plans with Misa, saw Honza, made dinner for several friends- Chimichungas! Czechs play beach volleyball in the rain too (it was raining Wednesday night)!
We still have so many people to see, and who just wants to see a great friend just once or twice? We would like to see everyone all the time! We barely got to see Marie and Kamil, the Dvorak's, the Cerny's and several others!
We are sad to only have a few days left, but excited about next summer and having Misa with us! I wish everyone could come home with us!
Plans are already being made for next year's English Camp so please join us July 8 to 15 in Dankovice at Selsky Dvur. Czech Republic is THE place to be!
