Too many good-byes and see you next years! So hard to wait for a year to see everyone again. We had a fabulous time. We look forward to many adventures with Agata and seeing everyone soon! (A year goes faster then you think!)
Katherine, Meredith, and Hannah have already gotten on their flights. We all thank everyone we met, stayed with, spent time with and all of those supporting us from Thanks and Ciao! Hello California! We all can't believe it is almost time to go. The 2 and 1/2 weeks have really zipped by. We are all so appreciative of our friends here; spending time with them, staying in their homes. Today we cheered on the Czech volleyball
Please pray for our sick friend. It has now been two weeks and he will soon be admitted to the hospital. Lung x-rays and several blood tests have yielded no results. It is God's time to show his power! We had a busy and successful day. It was fun spending the morning with Mom and Pavla before having lunch at Lida and Pavel's beautiful home.
Afternoon coffee with Lucy and her family, we spent time with Pavel and Veronika and sister Petra. We have had such a short time here, but have been to see many people and spent time talking, getting caught up on a year of happenings. Nicola, Pavel and Veronika's daugther, is already two years old. We remember praying for her before she was born! Time passes so quickly! Thank you for prayers for our friend. We do not have any news yet as to the cause of the sickness, but it has gone on too many days to be something simple. Please continue to pray for doctor's wisd Today was Prague. We all had a great time terrorizing the city... okay, we were nice, really. Some went to see art by Alfons Mucha (Czech him out... his is a famous Czech artist popular through out the world). Some went on a walking tour and everyone saw the old clock at Old Town Square. Tomorrow is busy. 10 am coffee with Pavla, 1pm lunch with 6 friends at Pavel and Lida's, 3pm coffee with Lucy and her mom, Zuzana, and 6pm dinner with Pavel and Veronika. Everyone is in good health and great spirit... tired of walking Prague though! We all went to see Marie (the younger) Vagnerova in a play in the forest theater. It was beautiful and, though in Czech, we could understand parts and friends translated for us as well. Roman had a great dinner in his garden for us after. He grilled meat for us and Marie (the wiser) prepared side dishes that were great. Everyone went rafting yesterday on the Beroun River. It was nice and sunny for a change. Meredith and Hannah stayed with Noel, Katherine with Jitka, and Rick and CA with Ivan and Hanka. Today is Prague Tour day on another beautiful day, about 80F, if my guess is right. We hope to meet friends in town and walk a while after sitting on the rafts all day yesterday! Please pray for doctor's wisdom and tenacity. Our friend is sick with an unknown problem, which is frustrating. 2nd set of blood results come in tomorrow!
Our prayers are with those in Colorado and who have family there facing the current tragedy. Our theme at English camp has been teamwork. I know through this trial, with teamwork and prayer, we can all overcome with G
We have too many pictures to share. Visit the CZ Picture Gallery to see more of what we have done this year at English Camp!
Today is calligraphy, horse shoes, and dancing! We thought it should be relaxing after yesterday's 23 km hike! |
